Tetiana Khomenko is a professional musician, performer, and educator with over 32 years of experience playing the balalaika and 25 years of teaching experience.
She holds Master's degrees from the R. Gliere Municipal Academy of Music and the P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.
Throughout her career, Tetiana has performed internationally, collaborated with musicians from Europe and North America, participated in festivals and educational projects, and dedicated herself to preserving and sharing Eastern European musical traditions.
Since 2014, she has also been giving lectures on Ukrainian culture, music traditions, and the historical development of Eastern European folk instruments.
Tetiana also has professional experience in the mandolin world through her collaboration with the Toronto Mandolin Orchestra. In 2023, she worked with the orchestra as an administrative manager, performed on octave (tenor) mandolin within the orchestra, and taught mandolin lessons focused on improving the technical and musical level of orchestra members.
Currently based in Warsaw, Poland, Tetiana offers online lessons worldwide and offline lessons depending on location and availability.
